othelarian Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Hello everyone! I'm a AFOL since a while now. I spent some great years playing mostly with them in 3D, and then I had a second child, and it became harder to find time to play with lego. Now my children grew just enough to let me have more time to get back and play. I'm not that old by the way ^^ I built some model in real life, but my collection is very small, the Queen Anne's Revenge, the MTT 7662, and a great stock of Advent calendars and old lego from people who doesn't want them anymore. I may had more sets when I was very younger, but my memory isn't good enough to recall this wonderful time. With real lego I tend to build them and keep them intact, and playing with them from time to time, but I don't build MOC, or just very small ones, I prefer building official sets. As I wrote earlier I'm a great fan of 3D, starting with LDD before switching for Blender with ldraw (in this old time I was on linux, and only leocad accepted to work nicely, and I found easier to work with Blender). I switched again for mecabricks at it's opening, but keeping Blender for rendering. Recently I changed for Studio, because I left linux and I want to know if my MOC can be really build or not and with the same color, and because mecabricks is fun but the website is less and less available the last weeks. I like Star Wars, but I prefer Sci-Fi in general. I love to build flying ships with weird sails. My favorite theme is aquazone first gen (the yellow submarines and the sharks, not the 1998 gen). I have the habit to take an official set and to modify it while keeping the core structure. You can find my MOC here: fickr mecabricks After quite a time only building with lego system only I want to look on the technic side of the lego. I already built some test, but nothing showable for now. I reached eurobricks with the dual diagonal drive of didumos, and one day I will build something with it, I swear. Happy to join you today. Yperio_Bricks Posted October 25, 2022 Posted October 25, 2022 Welcome to the forum! Some nice mocs at your flickr. I really like your Cyberpunk (or better: Scifi-Punk ) vehicles! Quote
othelarian Posted October 25, 2022 Author Posted October 25, 2022 Thanks! You're right, more Scifipunk than Cyberpunk Quote
