Lego cat from the early days?

Hi guys! 
I seem to be falling into the same rabbit holes in my research, over and over. Could anyone help me figure out if this is an original Lego wooden cat or not? 🤷‍♀️ They are all so differently painted, and I can’t seem to find this particular one - not within the competitors products either. And there are many details hinting it could be Lego. Sold from a collector of wooden toys from the right era - some of them genuine Lego. But this one lacks any stickers or markings. Would love anyones take on this kitty cat!
