iragm Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 First MOC in 20 years. I wanted to update the classic 6067 Guarded Inn to fit the style of 10305. Pics say it all: I've made the instructions available for free on Rebrickable, here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-119072/irabricks/iras-guarded-inn/ Hopefully someone uses these, I spent far longer than I would like to admit making them. Feedback is welcome and appreciated. Quote
jodawill Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 This is amazing! I love it. It's the perfect balance of detail and classic Lego aesthetic. When I was reading the title though, I was thinking it would be hilarious if someone created a MOC they call the "Unguarded Inn." Quote
iragm Posted August 3, 2022 Author Posted August 3, 2022 Thanks! It's only the Ungarded Inn when the guards have gotten into the ale again... Quote
brimbolet Posted August 3, 2022 Posted August 3, 2022 Excellent Moc and very properly scaled too; the ideas blacksmith is far too big honestly and your inn is just perfect. Thank you for sharing the instructions! Quote
woodford86 Posted August 4, 2022 Posted August 4, 2022 This is great, looks like it would scale great with the MMV. I've always wondered, would a guarded inn really be a thing though? I mean what inn keeper could afford to hire guards and build a mini castle? Quote
BlackGloveBricks Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Wonderful update on a classic build! Well done! Quote
AndrewH7 Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 I've the Guarded Inn, as some parts missing I bought part set off eBay. Then made it 2 stud bricks deeper, also tried 6 deeper by no longer having front open. Made wall of 2 panel instead of 4 as still short of unfaded bricks, now bought missing off BrickOwl. Just short of lady's torso now. Quote
