Hilga Duff and her husband Herbert head to town with a few baskets of blueberries.

Hilga had loved blueberries since she was child in Belson and had made it a point to transplant some bushes to the colonies. Those few bushes had really taken off, the wet land around Queenston being an excellent fit for the fruit.

Though they had named their home Duff Manor, the locals refer to it as Blueberry Manor.

Good looking house, I love the door and windows!

Although the roof makes the build feel way more like a Spudkirk or Wullham house than a Queenston one.

But it's definitely welcome in Queenston!

Great window design, I especially like the use of the candles (and is that an upside down 1x1 round plate with a hole on the top of the candle?). The transition around the windows into the walls looks a little stark - I think that maybe trying to overlap some of the olive bricks might have helped make them look more integrated?? My only very minor criticism! :pir-huzzah2: Love those minifigs as well! Very pioneer-ish!

I like dark azure and sand green, the landscape looks like there are puddles of water after a rain shower. The door frame and window frames look good.

Nice build! The color choice is quite unusual but works well, the terrain is very well textured, and the building itself is full of interesting details. It would be nice if your build also had an interior, but this is mostly a personal bias of mine!

Well done!

The blue and sand green work really well for landscape colors and look very fun!  Love those fancy windows and the olive wall too!

Thanks all! Definitely fun to experiment with these colors. And I've had some olive green masonry bricks for a while and hadn't used them yet
