Envelope Tile Window Technique

There were envelope tiles on the PAB wall for AFOL day, so trying out a new window technique :D

I have seen something similar on Flickr.  It is good when you want something to look like a stained glass window without being able to see through like in a cylindrical tower with hidden supports inside.

Very nice! I think would look more window-y with a clear bricks in front.

Thanks! Clear bricks are an interesting idea - will give it a try, though it would require some reconfiguration of the front stone frame :)

Clear panels or even glass doors slotted in might be better, as putting it behind bricks would loose the lovely detailing  of the frames. If they are too far back, they'd look like curtains instead.

That's a great use of a print to make something completely different from an envelope, and it looks nice..

For the extra stained glass look, I wonder how it'll look with a white plate and some light behind it.
