SlyOwl Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Mill and crops. Includes Fabuland edge x3, in 3 grades of obviousness... Quote
Hinckley Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 This is ingenious and awesome as usual. I especially love the way you built the water wheel. Super smart! Let me try and figure out the edges here: Super obvious: Severed horse head in bed. Subtle: Zebra skin stool cover ?? I can't find it! clue? Quote
SirNadroj Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Very quaint; I love the mud there. If Hinckley's right, is the third edge the blood near the waterwheel? Looks like a duck got stuck and ground up into meat! Mmmmmm.... tastes like ham. Quote
Atoll Dweller Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 There's a skull in the grass! This is a genius MOC. Quote
CopMike Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 3 x ! Awesome! And I really, really like the ducks ! Well done again / CopMike Quote
Wilhelm screamer Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 [*]?? I can't find it! clue? Walrus hat in the second pic? Quote
Hinckley Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Walrus hat in the second pic? That's not a walrus hat. It's a 2x2 round plate, representing a throw pillow I believe. duh Quote
Fluyt Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Nice moc Only I hope for the occupant of the house that the fireplace is fake, since there's no chimney (unless it got photoshoped away) , he might die of smoke-inhalation otherwise. Quote
Shoc Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Lovely MOC, but... The head in the bed?! Yuck! :skull: Quote
LegoLyons Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Thats just brilliant. Another great addition the the Guild. Love the water wheel and those oh so simple and cute ducks. And I love the siplicity of the roof, it works just great! Quote
Zepher Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Truthfully outstanding work Owl! I really wish I could get my hands on some Fabuland critters! Quote
BlueBard Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 A bit sinister... but nice wotk as usual, SlyOwl! Quote
SlyOwl Posted June 30, 2008 Author Posted June 30, 2008 Let me try and figure out the edges here: Subtle: Zebra skin stool cover That was the super-subtle one: not some sort of concealed object, but something that doesn't look out of place until you place it in context. A little like the mousetrap I guess Very quaint; I love the mud there. If Hinckley's right, is the third edge the blood near the waterwheel? Looks like a duck got stuck and ground up into meat! Blood? What do you think I am - some sort of mobster? I imagined it as the sort of weed that grows on the side of locks: That's also why I chose a "wet" mud style - I tried to make it look as if the water level frequently rises and falls Only I hope for the occupant of the house that the fireplace is fake, since there's no chimney (unless it got photoshoped away) , he might die of smoke-inhalation otherwise. Yup. If only there was one more hour in the week, I could have done it, but I had to photograph whilst the light was still good outside. As for photoshopping, the cloth rug actually has a 2x2 hole in the middle. Not any more. A bit sinister... but nice wotk as usual, SlyOwl! You joined a little too late to see some of my earlier, more disturbing stuff Quote
Sir Dillon Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Really cool creation! I like your attention to detail, like the hat rack and muddy bank. My favourite part of this is the submerged water wheel. The horse head in the bed is also great. Quote
Tom_castlefan Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 The attention to detail is wondeful! I love the horses head, the ducks, the sebra skin stool cover, and the cabbages - how are they made, or are they a one part piece? Great job! Tom Quote
Shoc Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 The cabbages - how are they made, or are they a one part piece? They are Exo-Force hairpieces! :skull: Quote
Stash2Sixx Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Great job. Superb attention to detail SlyOwl. Super twisted with the head in the bed!!! Quote
