Pencoin Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 (edited) This project is about continuing the storyline and such of EXO-Force by fans. Many were upset at the cancelation of EXO-Force but everyone knew the reason, the 2007 sets hadn't sold, but it wasnt a surprise they werent at all as good as the 2006 range. Now EXO-Force is in are (more capable) hands, we can take the storyline in directions TLC wouldnt of even considered, we could make the builds mroe complex then erm... the story for Metal Gear. We can do it, but only if people aint shy ok ok so ive been thinking of some stuff in my head which I'll share First of all only three of the sets werent vehicle based, so more stuctures is a must! And the storyline abruplty stopped without finishing it so that leaves alot of possableities. one thing that i think could happen is that while they were saving sensia, the robots attacked the human settlements and took over all the mountain which think could lead to some suit of stealth storyline and a ninja theme my thoughts arent set in stone, everyone gets a say and the finshed porduct for each Arc (were not gonig to rush everything in a year like TLC we can do this how we want we decide now) which is the name ive given to each story (subject to change) for instance Sentia arc Golden city arc and Jungle arc. and here is a few things i cooked up in LDD, as alwasy they aint final! a turret a water based craft back take it away folks! ReZourceman Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 I think this is a good idea. On this site at least we could decide for.....an unofficial, official storyline that it continues under. I like the idea of the robots taking over the entire mountain. How about ; Whilst the heroes resuce Sensei in the jungle, the Robots use their forces to take full control of the entire mountain, and take humans hostage. The Exo-Force team must now build new robots in Senseis secret underground bunker, and when doing this they contact "Nade" a former Exo-Force member who went rogue by providing the Robots with intel of the early Exo-Force models, in exchange for money...however the robots double crossed him and in a final battle Nade lost his arm (which he rebuilt a robotic arm). These events were 2 years before the first wave of Exo-Force we saw. So using Senseis bunker, and Nades resources, and ruthlessness the Exo-Team create a new formidable, and unrelenting force of the most dangerous mechs ever, to take back the mountain once and for all. Trexxen Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 It's a great idea! But...are you sure this hasn't been thought of before? ~Trexxen (That reminds me...I need to post my building...) Quote
Adam Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Nice idea, Pencoin . I think the story can go in many directions, and it can incorporate loads of MOCs-already built and not yet made. Even LDD MOCs, such as your own, can play a part. I think that this would be well incorporated into something like the Star Wars Comic Game, except that anyone can play, adding new plots and helping along others'. Quote
maiq the liar Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 (edited) In the Foggyville storyline, Exo-Force buried a nuke miles below sentai, evacuated sentai and before the robots had any idea what was happening, the nuke detonated forming a large cavern under sentai mountain. What happened next was quite possibly the 2nd or 3rd largest sinkhole the Mayor had ever seen. sentai was never seen again, now being buried. however, that doesn't explain what happened to mecha one... Pencoin Posted June 30, 2008 Author Posted June 30, 2008 Project Sentia mountain is more bout improveing the past things whiel this is more about conitueing it All ideas are good (well they cant be bad can they unless... nevermind) The main thing that struck out to me was that both involed EXO-Force being hardcore, i like that because the offical storyline always felt it was being kept for kids but it was a good idea for kids in the first place (the main thing was that they always tagged on spiderman like remarks at the robots) the way i see it at the moment is that it will turn out something hardcore and rouge-y (EXO-Force rebeling under the robots control or something prehaps?) Nice idea, but something like that should probabaly happen later in. I think to start, we should finish the Golden City stuff, wrap up some loose ends. We'd keep some ends open so that we can explore them later, but it'd be nice to have our own storyline. First, though, we must make this "underground base", developing on your idea, maiq. Also, we have to make sure that Hitomi ISN'T LEADER. That'd be a disaster! Edited July 1, 2008 by Adam Quote

I think that the cancellation is particularly sad because the 2008 sets like the Tiger, Panther and the Chameleon are the best mechs they've come up with...so good that they actually got me into EXO when I had been ignoring it from the beginning. It would have been nice to see the models evolve even more. Anyway, good idea, Pencoin. And if anybody out there was good ideas on how to expand/modify that Golden Tower set, my eyes are peeled. That'd be a disaster! of course, there WAS a open end...for one thing, it said they never figured out what happened to the robots, and it didn't neccesarily say sentai mountain was destroyed, just buried*. *in a large cave miles underground that was formed as a result of the nuke going off. Wouwie Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 Well, since there is the Project Sentai Mountain, maybe we could combine these 2 projects? Quote
Pencoin Posted July 5, 2008 Author Posted July 5, 2008 No, dont ask again is getting annoying the two projects are completey different, only thing in common is tht is surrounds EXO-Force Quote
DJ Force Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 No, dont ask again is getting annoyingthe two projects are completey different, only thing in common is tht is surrounds EXO-Force Excuse me, but to be honest I don´t see these two projects being too different. Project Sentai Mountain is about exploring and expanding the world of Exo Force just as this project of yours is. The only difference is that PSM is starting with upgrading and expanding the Headquarter first, before continuing with new battle machines and vehicles. PSM can then be used to create new storylines, or to continue the lose ends the official storyline offered. Personally, I see lots of potential to combine the two projects. As for the "the Robots take over the whole mountain while the Exo Force is on a rescue mission for Sensei Keiken" plot... I don´t think it´s a good idea, neither that it would work. The official storyline depicted in the comics told us that there are 5 heroes kids can play with (counting Hitomi, too), but a whole army of other Exo Force staff with lots and lots of battle machines, too! The rescue mission for Keiken is best suited for a small party, not for the whole army. That´s why in case the Robots would attack Golden City, they would be fought back by the rest of the Exo Force, even if 4 heroes are missing. On the other hand, if the Robots would succeed in taking over the whole mountain while Ryo, Ha-Ya-To, Takeshi and Hikaru are on their mission to rescue Keiken, that would make FIVE people against the whole Robot army spread over the entire mountain. If the whole Exo-Force army couldn´t defend the Golden City against the Robots, how should 5 people possibly lead a rebellion against the Robots and succeed? It just doesn´t make sense, at least not from a "grown-up" point of view. My suggestion would be that the rescue party succeeds in rescuing Keiken and they return to the Golden City. Next logical step would be to improve the defence system, as with the old system the Robots managed to kidnap Humans most important person. The Golden City offers many battle machines (Anyone noticed the fleet of Golden Guardians in the comics?), so there´s no need to use ressources on new battle machines at the moment. On the other hand, the Sentai Headquarter is partly destroyed, but the robots don´t show too much interest in it as it seemed in the comics. The Humans could use their ressources to build digging vehicles, to dig a tunnel between the Golden City and the Sentai Headquarter. Then they could start rebuilding the Headquarter without the Robots noticing that there´s action going on. To distract Meca-1 and his Robots, the Humans could use unmanned vehicles for sneack attacks on the Robot base. The new minirobots would be a good starter to expand on that idea. After repairing the Sentai HQ the Humans have two bases and a tunnel system, which gives them the opportunity to attack from two different points and move unseen and unharmed between the two bases. A clear advantage. This very basic idea already gives us fans a lot of opportunities for MOCs: - New defence systems for the Golden City - Digging Vehicles - Construction Vehicles - Unmanned craft - new Minirobots - new and improved Sentai HQ (this is the point where this project and PSM ultimatly can be united) Quote
Pencoin Posted July 6, 2008 Author Posted July 6, 2008 hmm im afriad to say i DONT like your storyline idea, it sounds to realistic, and more liek TLCs offical storyline the robots could easily overtake the mountain, cmon who really could expertly pilot golden guardians, and the 'team' could well not easily but could win it back as in stealth, you could say how one person can save the earth (happens in countless things, look at the Metal gear series) so i think a group or 4/5 could do it escepiaccly when they got giant mechas boom boom. Quote
DJ Force Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 (edited) Yep, and then you´ve got the "kids style TLC version" back in action. I thought you said "let´s take it in directions TLC wouldn´t even think of". TLC doesn´t think of making things realistic, but aimed at kids. That´s why you didn´t have armies at war with Exo Force, but only a handful people, characters kids could relate to. But then again, this idea here is yours and I´m not going to force our projects to couple. Edited July 8, 2008 by DJ Force Quote
