As the 6th Maine headed south away from Gettysburg, Corporal Breckinridge spotted a huge blasted tree trunk that must have caught artillery fire.

He smiled and thought to himself, “That must have been a big tree!”.

It was the first time he had smiled since the battle had ended.

This is a beautiful and well-built landscape with new ideas.

Thanks @NOD! Thought it would be fun to knock out a little build in a few hours

That withered evergreen in the back is nicely done. Neat SNOT usage as well!

Thanks! I grabbed a PAB cup of those clip tiles in sand green a while back and figured they would have a use!

A nice little moment you captured. Very well done. Love both trees.

Thanks! Hoping to repurpose the base for a Native American build at a show this weekend.

Really cool build and quite inspiring. Where did you get the printed arm from?

Thanks! The chevrons are just a little sticker I printed onto Avery shipping labels

Looks good! Is that a sticker for the rank on the arm?

Nice work Evancelt, beautiful tree-leftover (it's something I'll keep in mind) 😃, I like the you did the baseplate!

Thanks! It's fun to mix up base styles and these sideways SNOT ones are very quick and add interesting textures
