Treasure Island - Pt.1

Now that's gorgeous :pir-love:

Hey look, there's that cave which is missing under the fort.

Questions:

Island is a separate build, right? How many pieces is there, in the island build?

Did you also made it first in Studio, or you went straight into a real build?

Thanks a lot, again!

Hmm, due to the fact that I built it straight in real, it's difficult to say how many pieces I used.

I didn't count, but I guess it's about 2,000 parts.

How do you access the inside of the cave, is the top easily removable like in the tower of the outpost? What's your trick here?

The lighting idea inside the cave is awesome :pir-thumb:

Yes. There is a part of the rock which can be easily pulled out. Here we go:

Oh, this is clever, very clever solution. It looks almost like something from the James Bond movie, but works great with Pirates :pir-grin:

Haha, yes. First I was not happy with this solution, but now I like it. It keeps the rock more stable. A solution with sliding mechanism or hinges would also be nice, but I also had to decide according the parts I had available.

Now the extension work stopped. I ran out of dark bluish grey slopes for the rocks. Waiting now for my new ordered parts ...

This I made for making the MOC scenery more flexible ...:
