Option to turn off audio for notifications/messages?

I was wondering if there was any way to turn off the audio when you visit the site and have a new notification? Occasionally I'll tab over to Eurobricks while watching/listening to something else and be startled by the loud notification sound. It's a minor complaint but if there was any way to set notifications to be visual only (no audio "ping"), I'd really appreciate it.

There are no settings for sound in the software, you should be able to manage it via your browser settings though.
