Actionfigure Posted February 10, 2022 Posted February 10, 2022 (edited) Hello, I built a new version of a magpie. It´s the same posture like my older model but it has a smoother shape and it´s slightly bigger. Edited February 10, 2022 by Actionfigure Quote
Captain Dee Posted February 10, 2022 Posted February 10, 2022 Looks great as usual. How many animals have you done by now, or have you even kept count? Quote

Redhead1982 Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 Impressive. Specifically, I like how you left the studs exposed as it really shows off the organic shape of the bird. It's not easy to capture it and you did a great job. Congrats. Quote

leahdavies12 Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 Beautiful! It looks like it uses mostly plates apart from a couple of hinges, which people wouldn't usually use nowadays. That being said, well done! Quote

Yes, I usually use hinges only for parts like the face or the hands/paws/claws. I think plates give a smoother overall shape. You can create all angles by layers without any discontinuation.
