Horlack Bricks Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 [Technique] Access Ramp : SNOT Slope 18 ° or 72 ° All build in SNOT Slope 18° or 72°. There, I am not far from perfection. The joins are almost perfect. Limit, I wonder if the clips are necessary = it could surely fit just by embedding.[Technique] Access Ramp : SNOT Slope 18 ° or 72 ° by Horlack, on Flickr Quote
Horlack Bricks Posted December 28, 2021 Author Posted December 28, 2021 (edited) Other version, Acces Ramp, [Technique] : Connexion SNOT 180°+ Angle 18° In fact, with my previous version, there were micro-shifts of 2 to 4 LDUs (the joins), and "unsightly clips". I tried to do better = "more perfectionist" . "To gain" 2 LDU horizontally (therefore reduce the joins by 2 LDU), I made a SNOT 180 ° connection technique with an angle (so the clips are reversed). And since, there is a connection (180 ° snot), then the stability is much better. It's more robust .[Technique] : Connexion SNOT 180°+ Angle 18°, Acces Ramp by Horlack, on Flickr Edited December 29, 2021 by Horlack Bricks Quote
nerdsforprez Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 Well done. I think that whatever gaps you are still seeing are acceptable given the limits of Lego.... Quote
