BrickBob Studpants Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 A couple of years ago, I’d probably have been disappointed with the „accessory pack“ news, but given how short our list of missing characters has become (especially with Yaxley coming and a potential OotP Tonks), I don’t really mind We‘re almost at the point where everything new they‘re releasing feels like a bonus Quote

And while we haven’t had any characters on the list confirmed as coming in the summer wave, there’s still possibilities. Crouch Sr. is a decent candidate as an exclusive minifig for the Hungarian Horntail, and if 76480 is Grimmauld as some of us theorize then Kreacher could appear as well. Not to mention the number of characters who could make an appearance in whatever the D2C is. Quote

Expand Wow, very interesting table. Considering customization possibilities, I would say the most important missing characters are Kreacher, Fang and Rita Skeeter, plus inflated Marge. The other characters could be made, in an acceptable way, with existing part I suppose (of course, I would be happy seeing them made by LEGO ). Looking at my custom minifigures I still miss Narcissa, Fang, Rita, Kreacher, Marge, Helena Ravenclaw and Winky. Quote
cosmic Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 (edited) Narcissa is certainly my most desired missing fig but I definitely want a proper Bellatrix with maniacal eyes/laugh, and printed dress slope while this theme is still around. The angry and calm face they give her in the burrow is not good enough. Additionally people keep saying we should use the cmf face. I disagree. That look had no makeup and darkened eyes, and was representing her prisoner of Azkaban look where she was worn out and jailed. Her movie appearances were largely with her makeup and even then that print has a smirk and closed mouth and her 2011 face remains the best to capture her lunacy. She hasn’t looked quite deranged since then, just angry or stoic which I do not feel does her justice. And then there’s the plain black slope piece. Lol. In short the other characters would be nice to get but a new and proper Bellatrix and Narcissa is all I’m really clamoring for. Edited March 31, 2022 by cosmic Quote

Expand If we get DH Gringotts then we’ll at least get Hermione polyjuiced as Bellatrix, and they’ll have to do a new print for that! XD Plus, now that DH sets are finally on the table, I feel like it’s only a matter of time before we get sets based on the Battle of Hogwarts, and both sisters are pretty integral to important parts of the battle. I expect to get newer versions of both sooner or later. Quote

Expand As we saw in 2021, I'd love a wave of Hogwarts sets based on the Battle of Hogwarts. I don't think one large set would cover it minifigure wise. The Viaduct Courtyard, the Boathouse, the Marble Staircase and the Room of Hidden Things could all be the major part of sets with the battlements and catwalks making the roofs and outside walls a bit more interesting. As well as the usual suspects, it could take quite a few of the list. Narcissa, Blaise, Cormac, Katie, the Grey Lady, Scabior and Aberforth were all there. Quote

Expand I caved last year and bought the 2011 Narcissa on Bricklink figuring we would never get another after she didn't appear in DA. Was only about $10. TheLegoDr Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 I would say 2010-11 was a knock out for minifigures for sure, especially compared to what was released in the theme prior to that. I got back into LEGO in 2010 BECAUSE of the Harry Potter releases. But I'd always welcome updates sure. But they look good overall for the most part. Quote

drewdotexe Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 Can someone remind me when the next wave of sets are due to release? Haven't been able to keep up! I was going to get a second Molly and Arthur to display with my Burrow (the ones from the set are in my minifigure frame), but have now decided to try and get the old versions if not too pricey. The new Molly is okay, but I really don't like how the Arthur does the thing where the printing just cuts off at the legs. Plus it will be nice to have different versions of them. I recently got Neville from 2011 as we may not anytime soon or ever get a repeat of him and apart from the orange skin printing on the torso he's no more inferior to recent figs. Neville, Ginny, Molly, Arthur and Narcissa are all possibilities for me to add to my collection. As for the new sets, I want to see the Ministry figs most and then the Shrieking Shack selection.
