[MOC] The BareBone (Hubless Droid Mk2)

This model was inspired by the StarWars Hailfire droid (set #4481), powered by 2 L PF motors.
I wrap a circle of part #x400c20 (4pcs) & PU LEDs to give more fun for playing.

Great touch with the lights! I've also been considering to build a "discount hailfire droid" using gear racks for a long time now. I'd want to use another motor to be able to adjust the angle of the wheels. Useless, but fun!

BTW I just had great fun clicking through your entire flickr stream, some real gems there!

Especially that blue rally car is super cute! I might have a go at copying that, probably in red.
