"Thanks Bers, but I don't think there'll be any need for that", Yelana says with a smile.

"Thank you, and enjoy your trip! The bus is just outside through the main entrance in Bus Station Two. Next in line, please step forward!" The attendant motions for a group of dwarves to step forward as the heroes move to the side.

Taking the tickets, Yelana hands one to Polaris as she walks over to the priests, putting the other into a pouch on her belt

"Well, magic and science can do some pretty impressive stuff, but both methods are costly. These types of situations aren't your average medical procedures, either. I've heard of some doctors turning to prosthesis to help soldiers acclimate back into civilian life after some truly grizzly injuries regarding the face, and magical glamours can disguise some injuries, but a full recovery is a fairly expensive process regarding rebuilding a nose, believe it or not."

"Ah, well. . . That is unfortunate, then. . . "
Pausing, Yelana returned the datapad to her backpack.
"Thank you, Priestess Keva; I appreciate your assistance.
Yelana bowed her head, then turned back to Bers and Polaris.

"Did you see what the two in green were wearing, like, what kind of clothes? Any armour? Did their weapons look high-grade, or could they've just been a couple hunters?"

Do you need everything spoon fed to you? Look around and make a guess for yourself. Besides it was a quick look, a rifle and walking stick form what I remember.

Are you always like this, thinking everyone is hiding something from you. I get Bers and why he is acting the way he is, he is still learning. But you I don't get, did something happen to you?

Yelana Perception Check: (DC: 1/3): (1,3,4,5 +1 Success) Three Successes

While it takes Bers a moment to spot the two groups Polaris spotted in the crowd, Yelana does and directs Bers attention to them. Yelana notes that the two figures in green cloaks are wearing worn leather armour and warm layers of clothing, including vests and boots for hiking. The rifle on the back of one of them is indicative of the bolt action laser rifles commonly used by hunters.

Well one of them is carrying a walking stick they might be able to beat your, hide. I guess it depends of if they are going the same way as we are heading. But if you really want to talk to them go ahead.

Yelana suddenly heard a chime in her ear - An incoming message on a frequency only used for emergencies. “SorryI need to take thisI’ll meet up with you in Knothole”, Yelana said to her companions. MM Note: I'll have a picture of the bus tomorrow.

The heroes make their way outside and towards the bus. The six wheeled vehicle's green livery is a sore thumb in a sea of white snow, as it begins to fall into the city's bustling centre. A dwarven service worker steps off the busy and wipes her brow, stepping out of the way of the heroes as they board the warm bus.

A robot driver takes his seat as two other groups get settled in. Two elves in clothes dyed in the colours of summer take their seats, looking somewhat out of place in their archaic looking garb. The younger woman places her walking stick down as the older man shakes his cloak down, the lines in his face denoting his age. He places his rifle next to his seat as the woman complains.

"Ugh, gods, dad, I hate travelling by bus. It makes me feel claustrophobic."

51787319430_39a6ba4e51_o.jpg
"Patience, sweetheart. We'll be in Knothole soon."

In the other column of seats, an adamite takes off his red cloak, placing it over the back of his seat as he steps into the aisle to look over a large wooden trunk in the seats ahead of his own, the large container taking up it's own row.

Polaris couldn't help but chuckle herself. I hope not the last corpse I dealt with smelled pretty ranked. Of course it was sitting around for awhile and bigger than this bus. It was some sort of "dragon". Ended up have to burn the poor thing, just to get rid of the creatures feasting on the "dragon".

Polaris Ursaring and this is MILES. Gesturing at MILES. We are from a far off place called Ne'xo. Don't worry most people haven't heard of the place around this part of the Galaxy. Why am I here, mostly to check out this festival that is coming up.

You two are local. What is this "Fix-It" character I heard about? Something about robbing the rich and giving to the poor, or something like that.

Jessi raises a curious eyebrow at the mention of a dragon.

51785629717_db1b6079c1_o.jpg
"Huh. Well, I've never been close to a dragon, but there's a few here on Aluriel. Pretty much all of them are given a wide berth of space, but they're not really hostile either."

51787319430_39a6ba4e51_o.jpg
"They are great beasts of nature, the fury of the elements made manifest. As majestic as they are terrifying; they are to be respected." Istifer bows his head in respect before replying in his soothing baritone voice. "A shame that the creature had be burned, truly a creature as big as you suggest would have fed many for some time. Although, I do wonder what could kill such a creature: dragons are quite powerful creatures after all."

After hearing Polaris' greeting, the two elves look to her with interest.

51785629717_db1b6079c1_o.jpg
"I cannot say I've heard of Ne'xo before."

51787319430_39a6ba4e51_o.jpg
"Neither have I, but I have been to Knothole's festival before. It's quite the lively event. They have a Harvest Week market and a number of vendors show up to sell wares. There's a number of contest including marksmanship and log tossing. I think you'd do quite well in some of the games: they're quite the lively events." At the mention of Fix-It, both of the elves look at each other. Istifer turns back to Polaris with a look of concern. "I have not met this Fix-It character myself, but I have heard of him. They say he can fix just about anything: rifles, electric kettles, heaters, tractors, you name it, he can fix it, so to speak. I haven't heard anything about him stealing, but apparently he works damn near for free."

51785629717_db1b6079c1_o.jpg
"I've heard people from outside Knothole come into town just to have him repair broken stuff."

51787319430_39a6ba4e51_o.jpg
"He's become quite the figure of interest, to say the least. To be honest I've never met the man. My daughter and I are heading to Knothole to visit my brother, Xander during Harvest Week. We debated taking our carnalizards, but I imagine the local stable is booked for the week, so the bus it is." Jessi rolls her eyes at the mention of the carnalizards.

51785629717_db1b6079c1_o.jpg
"We wouldn't be in this situation dad if you listened to me and sent a request to book room at the stable through the aethernet." Istifer scoffs at his daughter's comment.

51787319430_39a6ba4e51_o.jpg

51785629717_db1b6079c1_o.jpg
"That's because you're old, dad." Istifer shakes his head towards his daughter's comments.

51787319430_39a6ba4e51_o.jpg

The way I understood it a bunch mercenaries killed the "dragon", just because some company didn't want it nesting in it's heating fields.

I think another problem with Ne'xo is that it is also fairly new, not even 50 cycles old yet.

I might be combining this "Mr. Fix-It" with someone else, for some reason.

I went aether diving once. And their is dangerous stuff that could be found their. I had to deal with a, I don't even know what it was. Well I had to help retrieve a traped diver. And it turns out this "creature" was mind controling said diver. It tried to get into my head and the rest of teams heads too, and it wasn't pleasant experience.

/// I am surprised you haven't asked them about your "Snow Queen" yet Polaris. The male elf mention he was a priest.

Well MILES, I am a little tired of asking about it. Turing her full attention to the group now. What do you do when when you don't know their proper name or really any thing else about said "Snow Queen". But now that MILES mention it, and I am noticing now you are the third group of religious people that I run into during this trip so far. Plus, this "Snow Queen" told me I am one of her "Cleric(s)" what ever that entails.

As Bers gestures to the trunk, Avgustus turns to his luggage. "Oh, that? Well, I did need something large to carry all of my research notes as well as something big enough to... oh, well, I might as well show you." Avgustus moves to the trunk and begins fidgeting with the locks. After a few moments the trunk's lid opens up to reveal an array of neatly packed items: thick, leather bound journals, holopads, tweed jackets and cashmere pyjamas, and a large, seemingly broken metal device. A large cylinder comprises of most of the device, but a lever, cracked glass piece, and cylindrical rod rest next to it. Avgustus points to the device, taking up a large amount of space in his trunk. "I heard about this Fix-It fellow in Knothole and I am hoping perhaps he can assist me with this device. You see, I heard this Mr. Fix-It can fix damn near anything, and I hope he has a gentle enough touch to help me put it back together. It is an old projector that contains a number of important schematics and diagrams. Of course, I need the device to work before I can analyze theme, so I am hoping this Fix-It chap can help me."

51714320375_9ed378c218_q.jpg

"Oh how delightful..." The word does not come naturally to Bers as it sputters out a bit awkardly, however still sincere. "... me and my compatriots need to see mister Fix-It as well, to repair some of our.. guild equipment... which uhm broke while we where on mission nearby..." re-forming the truth is not something that comes natural to Bers either. "Perhaps you would be interested in travelling togheter friend Avgustus?"
