Jon. im not sure you might be a little confused i was talking about the motor cycle it self like the big red piece on the front..but i do own one of those old helemts in red Quote

If the grittiness was caused by JPEG artifacts then it would be more consistent, especially with similiar colours. To me the bike looks like painted confectionary. Like it has a red sugar coating!
