evancelt Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 Angus Ferriman won the sloop "The Pointed Dingleweed" in a game of cards. He got some pushback from his new crew on the name, so he changed it to "The Naughty Nougat". They liked that better. --------- Here's my micro ship class 3 earned as a prize during Challenge IV: Rebuilding Terraversa Wanted to try a ship on the new nougat hulls Trying to find more uses for my bazillion muskets. Some more photos: Spoiler Quote
NOD Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 The landscape and the ship look very nice. It's one of the best micro builds I've seen. Thank you for showing how it was built. How much time did it take you to build it? Quote
Spud The Viking Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 Lovely colours of the water and a great landscape! The ship is also nice, good use of parts! Quote
Capt Wolf Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 Wonderful micro! Nice use of the musket as the bowsprit. But it's the effect of moving water you get in the base that is really stellar! Quote
Ayrlego Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 Probably the best micro ship I’ve seen! Superb colour use as well, especially the light/bright blue (no idea on the official colour name!). Brilliant work! Quote
Mesabi Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 That is a lovely build, evancelt. Everything about it looks great, from the ship, to the water effects, to the micro terrain. Way to go above and beyond with your build! Quote

It took about 2 hours to build, though I'd been thinking about how to do it for the past week. 22 hours ago, Spud The Viking said: Lovely colours of the water and a great landscape! I like using those round 1x2 plates as they help little things look less blocky - less minecrafty 12 hours ago, Capt Wolf said: Wonderful micro! Nice use of the musket as the bowsprit. I used a musket for the stern mast as well - I liked that the grip of the musket allowed for an angled sail. 9 hours ago, Ayrlego said: Probably the best micro ship I’ve seen! The colors in the water are medium blue/medium azure/dark azure/white 6 hours ago, Mesabi said: That is a lovely build, evancelt. blackdeathgr Posted October 31, 2021 Posted October 31, 2021 The ship is nice but the water and base and all that "secondary" elements, really shine in this micro! Quote

Kai NRG Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 I love the olive hills on the horizon, and the mixture of blues for the water. Nice job on the micro ship too! Quote
