Outside of Pontelli. Tuesday afternoon.

A small path leads to a shed next to a field.

Well-known merchant Slim Shady approaches a guy working on the field: "Oi, squire!"

640x661.jpg

Man working on the field: My name is Mike, Mr.

Shady: Well, well, Mikemister. Nice to talk to you. I'm here on business.

Mike: What do you want?

800x598.jpg

Shady: Well, I happened to see that you are growing one or two tulips here.

Mike: Well, that...

800x582.jpg

Mike: ... might just be...

800x358.jpg

Mike: ... an understatement.

Shady: Well, what I wanted to say is that you, Mikemister and the other mechanics here are working on a really fantastic plantation.

800x303.jpg

Mike: Yes, we call it the first LTP.

Shady: LTP?

Mike: Yes, "Large Tulip Plantation".

Shady: Fascinating. I am fascinated. And I want to buy your tulips.

Mike: How many do you want, one, two?

Shady: All of them. I am buying all of them.

640x457.jpg

Mike: Wow. Oh, I see. That is beyond my paygrade.

Shady: Which means, Mikemister?

Mike (pointing to the shed): Which means that you must talk to the boss.

Shady: So, you are not the boss. He is inside the shed?

Mike: Yes. But he actually has more than one shed.

Shady: Two sheds? Is he by any chance two-sheds Jackson?

Mike (shakes his head and turns to the shed) Boss, could you come out, Sir? There is a gentleman wanting to see ya!

800x826.jpg

Shady later told the story: So there I stood, in the middle of this extraordinarily large plantation, waiting to see who was the man in charge.

And then, after what seemed a small eternity, the door of the shed slowly opened and - much to my surprise - ...

I wondered how long it would be before we saw a tulip plantation.

Me too. Already on it!

I'm just hoping I can get my little vig built that references this whole tulip thing before the story reaches a conclusion!

Mikemister :pir_laugh2:

It looks nice to see so many tulips. Again, an interesting continuation of the story.

Maybe the Plantation belongs Ismael Oldton (the guy who wants to introduce a new currency)? :pir-grin: The Plantation could force a new currency.

No need to read more. I am hooked just by the choice of words like "Slim Shady" and "Oi, squire"! :roflmao:

You surely plucked A LOT of levers to make those tulips, Mr B!

So many tulips!  It looks quite lovely, actually. :pir-sweet:  I wonder did you start the story because you had so many tulips, or did you buy the tulips because of the story? :pir-grin:

Another nice build and story! Almost reminds me of Animal Crossing with the lines of flowers and the little shed!

Thanks. So I have managed the internationally famed design aesthetics of Animal Crossings. Cheers to that! :pir-grin:

Large indeed! I'm going to have to borrow that tulip design in the future. Don't know how I never saw a flower design like that.

Feel free.  I always thought that tulips had to be built that way :pir-sweet:

Looking forward to your vig!

Don't worry, the story is just entering the "middle section". :pir-grin:

:pir-sweet: Ah, you are remembering those names. That is good. The guy will definitely return. But is he the plantation owner?

Oh, yes, I PLUCKED A LOT OF LEVERS. I actually started working with pincers as the levers did not want to be plucked.

And then I used tweezers to repair the tulips when something had come off again...

I am happy that you like the humour of the story :pir_laugh2:

Very cool plantation :D

My guess: it will be a monkey who runs the plantation :D

The plantation will make the EWTC rich!!

Why would it be a monkey? In my storyline? Would I ever? :pir-laugh:

What I can say, is, it will be someone aristocratic.

I wanted to start the story and so I ordered hundreds of levers on Bricklink.

It is getting hard to count but for this build more than 300 levers had to be "plucked". And tediously attached to those green thingies (and they tend to fall off again:pir_wacko:).

So this MOC has a very high part count (is that the word? "part count"? Sounds more like some nobleman)
