I've heard the terms "clutch" and "clutch power" referenced numerous times, both by the LEGO company and by fans, but always in the context of allusions and puns. I've never actually heard it used in any (presumably) technical context. What does it mean?

It's basicly how firmly brick/plate's stud connects to an anti-stud, which could be as simple as another brick, or minifigure's feet.

If an older or damaged minifigure for example has no clutch power, it would just fall over on a studded surface.
