Maks Posted June 12, 2021 Posted June 12, 2021 (edited) Hi! Today I'd like to show you what I consider my best work up to date and also my first take on a fighter aircraft. I chose F-4 Phantom because of its legendary status and cold war era origins, which is also the theme of most of my other models. It's distinguishing feature is the big scull logo on the tail fin. Phantom was one of the biggest and heaviest fighters of its era, especially when compared to 'tiny' MiGs 19 and 21. Geihlen Posted June 15, 2021 Posted June 15, 2021 You really nailed the shape of this jet, fantastic work. I especially like the brick built canopy you went with, which I vastly prefer to trying to make Lego windshields work. Quote
Tezclatipoca Posted June 28, 2021 Posted June 28, 2021 Amazing ! An excellent design and it is quite fitting well minifig scale ! I wish I could build a plane like this (my skills are more on ships halas... ) You should try yourself in our Game The Great Brick war ! Quote

sandtrooper Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 Fantastic work on this! Very well done on achieving the shape of the fighter. The canopy also really works well made from several pieces - rather than just a few pieces. Quote
Bricks-on-Rails Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 Awesome, absolutely not my category (need rails for some fun) but this built cought my attention. Thank you for sharing. With kind regards Martin Quote
zumaidi Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 wow! impressive. Well-done. I hope it can be played on my Flight Simulator - https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-80141/zumaidi/flight-simulator/#details Quote
l0renZo Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 So smooth, so pretty. Personally, I prefer with a real canopy, rather than transparent parts, but I understand that compromises must be made to respect the shape. Which is definitely the strong point here. Very well done and thanks for sharing! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 I love modern warplanes, but I think they are very difficult to make with Lego ...so when I see such masterpieces I am speechless! Great work! Quote
StarBrick Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 Awesomely nice sloping here! Love to build one and place it next to my Tamiya 1:32 F4..... Quote
Feuer Zug Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 Nicely done. A great aircraft and you've captured it well. Quote
LegoMFP_David Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 I bet this was quite a difficult build, however you have captured the jet very well indeed. You have some serious MOC building skills! Quote
lowlead Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 W O W ! ! Unbelievable achievement. Modern day warplanes are very tricky to get right and this is - no contest - the best looking F-4 out there. All of the trademark attributes of the Phantom are so well represented. The large intake ramps, the wing sweep, the rake of the vertical stab, the angled wingtips, the elevator anhedral - it's all there! I can look at these photos for hours, amazing work!! Thanks for sharing this! Quote
Guyinaplaguemask Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 Beautiful, are there instructions? Quote
