No it is not! It's 2 different heads, there is no anakin head in this set! It was only used on that 1 pic, that pic is a prelim pic.

Ahh, it makes sense now. But it might have made sense to give the Apprentice two heads, one before conversion(brown hair, Luke head) and one afterwards(black hair, angry dark face). So the JSF only has one head? And the angry face in the Amazon hi-res pic is prelim? Sorry if this seems redundant, but I'm still somewhat confused... *wacko* :-|

Ok then lets try and make this clear.

Set 7669 JSF has one head only, that being the new cartoony anakin one.

Set 7672 Rogue Shadow has only one head for the Dark Apprentice and its not double sided, it's the plain black hair face as seen in the single pic of him on amazon.

However it seems that amazon has a prelim pic up, where the Apprentice has the wrong head (A Obi Wan Head). It's the pic with all 3 figs by the Rogue Shadow, this is what is confussing people.

Also since when TLC included 2 heads for the same MF ?

Anyhow, I really want TRU to get that set asap !! I even started to make room for it :-P

maybe they meant one head with 2 printed sides like those EF heads? dunno...just playing devil's advocate here. :-P

If only TLG would release a star wars battle pack which has 4 or 5 Jedi hoods in it. I love the Jedi hood piece, but you only get 1 or 2 in each more expensive set, I'd love to have lots of Jedi hoods because I love that piece *wub* and I don't want to use bricklink or ebay.

why not bricklink or ebay ? Surely that'd be the most economic way of getting a lot of those hoods ?

he did say he doesn't want to BL or eB. for new brown though i agree it's quick and cheap to just get from BL. you can get for 0.16 a piece for like 100 of them. i'm not sure how long you will need to get them otherwise.

LMJ is part of the Ladies group ;-)

I agree that the best would be BL. Apart using those sites, you could find a trading deal with EB members ;-) Apart from that I'm dry ;-)

And I would like some of those hoods as well, I have only 2 or 3 black ones, from the Emperor and Darth Maul... I want some brown ones as well, and white ones preferably *sweet*

So basically the only place you can get a decent brown hood is in an old, expensive set, or in a new, expensive set. The expense and the age is what's bouncing this ticket around... :-| Come on, Lego! More hoods! More hoods!

That hood was present in more sets actually: check here But I agree that we need more of them because they are really sweet ;-)

Tks for the link, *yoda* ! I know you can get them singally off Bricklink(I think), but if you scroll down and go to the section where it lists 'Brown', it shows only two sets: Republic Cruiser and Gungan Sub. Perhaps I missed something? *wacko*

It is right, those are the only 2 sets with the original brown hoods. All the other sets the jedi just had hair.

I know, I'm just saying that because XWY said it was present in more sets, that which it was not, as far as the accuracy of Bricklink goes. ;-)

I got a bit confused about that as well.... but it is indeed a shame the brown doesn't show up more often...

Like I said before, I have two or three black ones... most likely from a few HP-sets as well....

On that note, I get it. X-D He probably was, and they still are as rare as ever. However, if the Clone Wars line brings a hooded Anakin or a hooded Obi-wan(or any generic hooded Jedi with the right colored hood) it'll probably be in a medium to small set.

Well, I wish the Anakin head was double sided, similar to the exo-force heads which I rather like! :'-(

(On another note, lat night I had a dream I bought an incredibly cheap X-box 360 complete with Lego Star wars game! Weird *wacko* )
