COVID marked my return to the Lego hobby. I hadn't really played with Lego since childhood, and back then I was way more follow-the-instructions than build-it-myself. But during COVID I bought a lot of lego, and even more minifigures, and was inspired to try and make some attractive 'displays'. This thread will serve as my journaling for these projects, starting with a MOC of a TMNT Sewer Lair. Intended features include:

  • 3 floors, one above ground with a pizza parlor, apartment, and garbage/sewer manhole entrance, two below.
  • 4 removable 'sunrooms'': Each room is removable and has it's own windshield roof so it can be displayed separately with good lighting.
  •  A training area, entertainment area, and kitchen.

Really feel like I'm on training wheels still; not using advanced techniques but even just building something of this size was fun and felt positive. Any feedback welcome! Help this beginner learn faster.
