@Waterbrick Down you wanted us to try something else how is that. I guess my only other suggestions to @Khorne and

Is to shoot up the crystals on the ground. :def_shrug:

Yep that's certainly one strategy. Coding could be used to try and disable or hamper the robots, Athletics maybe to grapple them, Deception to try and feint for better damage avoidance, Perception to maybe spot a weakness, using the environment like you're doing is also a good idea like the tree or the flowers.

So Rat Catchers, hope you are good at playing Mastermind, because I was always terrible! I spent many a rainy afternoon at Grandma's losing at Mastermind

Unless I'm mistaken, we have an infinite number of attempts. That instantly removes the main source of Mastermind's difficulty.

Granted if we get it right in one guess, the explosive goes off right in our faces.

I'm still so used to old Heroica's combat system, it never even occurred to me we could use proficiencies in battle to analyze the enemies or alter the course of battle. Fingers crossed we can turn the odds into our favor.

Yep, it definitely allows for more creative problem solving if anyone wants to use it. Don't forget the Rally and Defend actions either. Based on your stats, you all can boost each other's attack or defense rolls by 2 dice.

Nah, I'm expecting we'll have to fight off an endless horde of rats while one of us enters combinations.

@Khorne I'm highlighting this because in the specific situation your party is in (facing enemies with a higher Skill than any of your party's weapon proficiencies) this action is extremely useful. Also keep in mind that both these actions can stack their effects, both from being applied by multiple allies and by being applied over multiple rounds.

Just wanted to let you know, suddenly an opportunity arose for an apartment that was too good to pass up, so I'm putting everything on hold and will be occupied with the move from my parents place into the new apartment for a few weeks.

The timing is a bit off since right after that about a month from now starts my vacation so, then I'll have plenty of time to get my Lego hobby room/space set-up and get building again ha-ha.

Because of this I probably won't be able to keep track of the game very well until I get all the paperwork and physical work sorted out haha.

No problem at all. That's the joy of the play-by-post format, it's intended to be casual and have players come and go as life allows. We'll be here. :classic:

"<Clone that card.>"

The intent of this is that Yelana uses her visor to scan the key card and create a digital copy, but I am not sure what kind of check it would be (Technology, Stealth, Sleight-of-Hand).

Coding in this case if you had tried to pickpocket the card that would have been a Sleight-of-Hand.

Also, note the visor can't give you Darkvision. There are specific spells to allow for that and a future item that'll allow for it as well.

Ah, OK. 👍

Yelana switching her visor to "Night Mode" was just an RP element. I brightened the image, and I needed a way to convey that in-character (hence the normal (non-bold) text).

Ah so what you're saying in the future I should just put up a black screen.

Are actions that combine checks possible? For instance, could Yelana pickpocket the card (Sleight-of-Hand), scan it (Coding/Perception), then put it back (Sleight-of-Hand), all in the same action?

Probably, since I will scour any image for potentially-useful information (I actually suspect that I know who the hooded O'Kor'uk works for, but I am not sure how to bring it up in-character (due to their lack of a uniform)).

Ah yes, the "Scott posted a new teaser for Five Nights at Freddy's" strategy.

Yelana pulls the gray backpack and find it only full of clothes.

I think that you misunderstood what I wanted to check; I was looking at the case represented by the boombox piece.

Zaria grabs the grey thing on the lower left rack and inspects it. "If this option bears no fruit..." She nods in the direction of the bin full of luggage.

This is what Yelana was trying to look at - The case that she directed Zaria towards is the Adventurers backpack piece.

@karmajay Don't forget to put a picture of your character in the register post.

But the other reason I am posting here Kirwin seem (or sounds) similar to a "character" on Sevngoolie (on MeTv). They will say his name, Kerwyn!! It is the yellow rubber chicken puppet. I guess it is spouse to be some kind of joke on the show saying Kerwyn!!

Thanks, I forgot about that.

Never heard of that show before though.

It on Saturday night starting at 8pm, they basically show B movies mostly of the horror variety, so a movie show host type of program. Another plus (I think) is Star Trek comes on right after the show (10 pm). And a couple of other Sci-Fi shows like Buck Rogers (11 pm)  Lost in Space (1 am)  and couple of others shows in between (and after).

As I said I won't be able to keep track of the game, as in I was currently following along all the ongoing missions, but I think I'll be able to join up on one. There has been a slight delay in the move as well. Which also means I got a bit more time to plan and prep

The mission doesn't start until at least August 3rd, so you have plenty of time to prepare. :classic:
