Johnny1360 Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 I for one sure appreciate all the divisions, keeps me from wasting time searching or viewing models I have no interest in, no matter how great. Quote

Jim Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 The Scale Modeling Forum has been merged into the Technic forum again. Welcome back! Quote
Sven J Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 Well, it's just as I had suspected... Just at the time the merger has taken place, the lastest topics from the ex-Scale Modeling Forum have already dropped to page 2 or worse. Can't imagine how this can bring more attention to scale modeling... *sigh* Quote

It will be different once people post a Scale Model in this merged forum. It will have better visibility and more attention and replies. Quote
Jim Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 We were stuck between a rock and a hard place. At the end of the day, I think the great MOCs will get the attention they deserve in this forum. Quote
Nazgarot Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 What are the requirements for calling it a scale model? I have a few unpublished technic models (mostly no system bricks, but buildt to scale). Would those qualify? Have a look at my 3 ton linde as an example (Im working on a revision with the new longer LA's making it relevant again): If this is not considered a scale model, I would like to know what is required to use the tag. _ED_ Quote
Jim Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 I’d simply call it [MOC] and omit the tags. It’s a great model and for me it doesn’t really matter whether it’s a scale model or not. We now have a single forum for both Quote

You can read all the info regarding Scale Models, requirements and such in the newly pinned topic: As Jim said, they (Technic and Scale models) are all in the same forum, so you don't have to chase tags. Btw, I really like the forklift, looking forward to proper presentation. Love the tank! 1 hour ago, Polarlicht said: Finallyyyy Quote

People gotta stop compartmentalising everything Quote
