STHLM Posted May 2, 2021 Posted May 2, 2021 Bright Light Yellow has emerged as a new favorite among house colours, especially together with white. It looks so yummy together that I get hungry for a vanilla-filled cream bun! For once, I have done interiors, at least on the ground floor, where the chic clothing store Style is located. LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Wow the building technique for the corner is crazy! Fantastic work ...as usual! Quote
Maple Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 I love cool / pale yellow! My favorite of the 'Friends' colors that some people just dismiss. Quote

I'm glad I found Maxim Baybakovs technique. The roof is a bit trick, as there is a half plate off set in depth for each row. I made a draft quite some time ago with different colors. It was only when 47457, 36841 and 36840 were available in the same color, LBG, that it was possible to build monochrome. I have been forced to build illegally, see attached photo. When 73825 comes in LBG it can be built legally. After the fourth line, I chose to make a jump one stud up and add 11477, otherwise it would have looked worse. On the back, it was not possible to get a half plate off set in all places, so there are some gaps that will let the rain in. On 5/8/2021 at 4:35 PM, Maple said: I love cool / pale yellow! Next building will probably be dominated by Medium Lavender! Edited May 10, 2021 by STHLM Quote

Yes, it turned out fine combining bright light yellow, LBG and white. On 5/10/2021 at 9:04 PM, Vilhelm22 said: Fantastic MOC! Your roof design is one of the best I've ever seen. Thank you! I rellay like to try different designs for the roof. I've already started! Medium lavender is a challenge, but not that a strange colour on a building really. On 5/11/2021 at 8:43 AM, jalemac34 said: Nice!!!! Thanks! Quote

Hi, I wonder if 22604 "Brick, Modified 1 x 1 with Studs on 2 Sides, Adjacent" may work here also. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=26604#T=C Quote

I've used 26604 in some places, and together with one plate on each side on some. Quote
