Not so very long ago I posted Sunset in Egypt - PART I. Now I present you part II, the real Bonaparte in Egypt :pir-wink:

Being in Egypt for business this week, I took today's afternoon off to play tourist. Below is a small selection of the pics I took today. The guy with the white thing on his head is me :pir-grin: . I needed desperately something to protect my head from the sun and that was the only thing available for a few Egyptian pounds :pir-laugh:. The last picture is a view on the Nile from my balcony in the hotel.

What happened to your bicorne?

Great shots of the Eyptian landscape, I've always wanted to go there, hopefully sometime in the fututres I can make the trek.

The is very nice looking

The camel is very realistic looking.

It seems that there is too much tan though.

I'd add a little color to make the scenery more interesting.

I'd also add some palm trees.

Personally, i think there be at least one palm tree in egypt.

I'm back in the rainy Belgium, what a difference with Egypt.

What happened to your bicorne?

The camel ate it :pir-tongue:

So, for what business are you in Egypt? Or are you just planning to conquer it again? :pir-devil:

I was asked to give some presentations and training in a 3-day workshop.

wow, lucky, nice pics! they seem smaller than in my dreams and documentaries... :pir_bawling:

are they smaller than you expected Bonaparte? conquering a pile of bricks one pyramid at a time...

camels, excited over a pesky camel, spiting pest in Australia, we have more wild camels than the middle east...

although they are rather fitting, a pirates choice of transport, being they are "ships of the desert" :pir-tongue:

yeah yeah me and my bad puns and jokes and leaving

*walks away with an evil chuckle*

*runs back*

ohh wait they worship cats in Ancient Egypt, did you see any cat worship while over there? sacrificial worship maybe :pir-skull: :jollyroger: :pir-skull:

They are huge!

Just look at this person (above the red arrow) standing next to the big pyramid of Cheops.

Lucky you! Looks like you had a nice time in Egypt! Haven't been there. The weather was also very good.... though bad weather in Egypt would really surprise me! I think it's almost always sunny there, ain't it?

You didn't steal an obelisk again, did you?;)

Very nice pictures. Did the camel like your bicorne or wasn't it not enough spiced?

"Voilà messieurs, les pyramides! Quarant siècles de l'histoire devant vous! Allez!"

-Napoleon Bonaparte on the "Napoleon" short series

Magnificent buildings indeed, your very lucky to visit them. Unbelievable they've been there for so many centuries...
