Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted June 11, 2008 Eurobricks Emperor Posted June 11, 2008 Not so very long ago I posted Sunset in Egypt - PART I. Now I present you part II, the real Bonaparte in Egypt Being in Egypt for business this week, I took today's afternoon off to play tourist. Below is a small selection of the pics I took today. The guy with the white thing on his head is me . I needed desperately something to protect my head from the sun and that was the only thing available for a few Egyptian pounds . The last picture is a view on the Nile from my balcony in the hotel. Quote

SlyOwl Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 That's odd - I always imagined you as humanoid... Quote
Fordo Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 Great shots of the Eyptian landscape, I've always wanted to go there, hopefully sometime in the fututres I can make the trek. Quote
Capn Frank Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 The is very nice looking The camel is very realistic looking. It seems that there is too much tan though. I'd add a little color to make the scenery more interesting. I'd also add some palm trees. Personally, i think there be at least one palm tree in egypt. Quote
QuartermasterRobert Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 You have earned my envy, Bonaparte! Egypt looks just lovely. Quote
Wilhelm screamer Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 You have earned my envy, Bonaparte! Egypt looks just lovely. Although I do fear it is or will become a tourist trap... Quote

Athos Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Nice. I'm jealous. Egypt is very high on a place I'd like to visit. Steve Quote
Wout Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 You didn't steal an obelisk again, did you?;) Very nice pictures. Did the camel like your bicorne or wasn't it not enough spiced? Quote
Tanotrooper Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 "Voilà messieurs, les pyramides! Quarant siècles de l'histoire devant vous! MagPiesRUs Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 Great pictures, Bonaparte, what an awe-inspiring sight that must've been. I take it that these were taken after you defeated the Mamelukes? Quote
Jonas Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Hi Bonaparte, I wonder if you had time to visit the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. There you can see the oldest and biggest Lego brick. It is a stone brick, quite large and some 4000 years old. The photo was taken by my friend when we visited Cairo in 2008. Quote

That would mean LEGO could be the first hobby in the known world! 4000 years, that's impressive! Quote
