Darth_Ewok Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 Just tell us what the scariest thing that ever happened to you was (ghosts, zombies, weird people in your closet) you can post as many as you like Once I was in my grandma's house and there was a party going on down stairs (my relatives were over) and I heard a thump behind me. I turned and saw a shaadow on the wall right next to mine but there was no person! I ran like crazy and had a cold feeling on the back of my neck. I ran down stairs and the shadow dissappeared... 8-| I was really scared. what scared you? Quote
Mr. Lego-builder Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 Well, there are always knocking sounds in my bedroom at night...and only at night. It doesn't really scare me, but I wonder why it happens... EDIT: I also heard that when people's souls/spirits are stressed, ghosts are actually there to release that anxiety. I have heard alot of other ghost stories too... Quote
Darth_Ewok Posted July 9, 2005 Author Posted July 9, 2005 If you have ghost stories then... lets hear em' ;) Quote
Mr. Lego-builder Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Sure...here is one for starters that I made up that was adapted from the original...it isn't really a ghost story nor scary either, but you might like it... :oo :oo :oo Once there was a girl named Lisa. She was like all the other girls except for one thing. She always wore a ribbon around her neck. Later, in her life, she found her love. A boy named Fred was in her class. Fred liked Lisa and Lisa liked Fred. Now, one day, curious Fred asked Lisa, "Why do you wear that ribbon all the time?" "I cannot tell you," said Lisa. However, as time passed, Fred kept nagging on about her ribbon. "Why do you wear it," Fred always asked. "It is not important," Lisa would always respond. Soon, they got married. After the wedding Fred would still ask Lisa about the ribbon. But still, Lisa would keep quiet. "I will tell you when the right time comes," Lisa would say. Years and years passed. Soon they got old. And with age, Lisa would constantly become sick. One unlucky day, the doctor told them of unfortunate news. Lisa was dying. Lisa, in her now weak, hoarse voice called Fred to her side. "What is it?" Fred sobbed. "Now I can tell you about the green ribbon." Lisa said,"Untie it an dyou will see why I couldn't tell you before." Slowly and gently, Fred untied the ribbon...and LISA'S HEAD FELL OFF. --Story adapted from an European folk tale in which a red thread was worn around a person's neck. The thread marks the place where the head was cut off, then later reattached. :oo :oo :oo Quote
The Middleman Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 That's such a classic, bildur... I remember reading The Ribbon when I was like 3. Quote
Darth_Ewok Posted July 10, 2005 Author Posted July 10, 2005 I've heard that so many times. and every five year old who tells it thinks they made it up! but its a good one. Quote
Mr. Lego-builder Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Yes, yes. I just had to let it out. But the origins of it shocked me at first... Hang in there...more unscary stories on the way... |-D :P Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 I had a scary moment last week. I walked through a hedge onto the park not reading the sign that said "Do not enter: Leprecaun Mating Season" I don't think I'll ever get those imagesout of my head >:( Quote
ApophisV Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 All those are true stories that happened to me: When I was young (like 8 or 9) I sat in my sisters room. There was a balcony outside of it with a large window. While sitting on the floor I noticed somebody walking behind the balconys parapet. I hadn't payed too much attention to this, but after some seconds I thought "Hey, how comes that there was a person, we're in the first floor! :oo " I still dunno if I've seen some kind of ghost or if it was imagination.... Some years later I walked with my sister across a graveyard that was situated in our neighborhood, we wanted to catch up a friend from a busstation. We used to play (inlineskating... :$ ) on this graveyard very often, so we were familiar with the most cool names there. (There were actually one with "Georg Cool" on it... Also family "Hanf" (Mariuana) and some other crazy names). But the most impressing grave was the one of family "Adams"... You know the show... ;) It hadn't only featured their name, but was also a really big and frightening looking grave, just as you would imagine the Adams family would have. Nonetheless while we were walking next to the grave (it was completely dark in this night) I told my sister "Hey, here are the Adams!". EXACTLY in this moment, everything became extremely illuminated and there was a loud "boom"!!!! My and my sister just stood there, not able to move or even to say anything! This was sooo scary! It took me at least ten seconds to realise that there has some kind of firecracker detonated above us.... We were so much scared... :oo :() Next story: I sat one day in my almost dark room which only was illuminated by my screen. I thought "Hm, lets search for my name at google! So I typed my name. The very first entry I clicked on was... a grave stone!!! I looked at it: "Oh, A grave stone with my name on it! Scary!" but then I noticed the death date: It was my birthday minus 20 years!!! :oo This was the point were I begun to believe in rebirth.... 8-| I'll post more if more comes to my mind... Quote
