Hi @brandaopj and welcome on board.

Can you be more specific in your question? I am assuming you have a technic car without any electric motors but with a gearbox (like the 42115) and you want to test, if the shifting of gears really do something on the fake motor in the car?

not really..

I don't know what motor / parts should get to test the gear system.

 

There are many several motors and for this purpose only i am looking for help to get the most affordable value for money.

The easiest and cheapest solution with Lego components will be to go to bricklink and order a battery box (link) and a L-motor (link).

According to your ID, you live in portugal, so you can maybe use this seller (link) to get both for around 15€.
