saabfan Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 (edited) A while ago I created a small minifigure scale plane inspired by the classic Cessna 172. I built an ordinary version as well as a seaplane. You can check out a 3D-view on Mecabricks and I also created custom instructions which you can find on Rebrickable. Kristof Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 Some of the techniques in this are unexpectedly interesting. Not that I would expect a boring design from @saabfan but these models, in particular, look very simple at first, but there is nothing basic on them when you look closer :) The instructions are nicely crafted too! Stuartn Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 Looks incredible, very detailed and extremely effective techniques, such as the upward tilted wings and the landing gear, especially on teh seaplane. Quote
deraven Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 A lot more going on here than it appears at first glance! So many offsets, elegant SNOT work, and the details you've been able to incorporate throughout are wonderful. Great build! Quote
Paperinik77pk Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 Very nice little plane, in both variations!!! Ciao! Davide Quote
