I need Soldiers and more!

Hi i'm creating an army and ehres the list of things I need plus amount:

Soldiers (1,000)

Cannons (20)

Guns (2,000)

Castle (A large castle with walls on all sides and no openings accept for the back. Has to have a drawbridge, windows and shelfs for guns and dungeons for prisoners)

So please give me links to sites other then EBAY or an auction site. You may think the amount of things I need is expensive but I have like 370,000 dollars willing to spend for it.

Halas, I'm afraid I don't know another way to get it than Ebay but I sincerely hope somebody would help you. However I have many friends studting history and one of them is a French History expert so if you need a precise event or fact I'll try to ask them for helping you.

By the way, that film you're working on... is it a contest or something for needing so large quantity of Mini-Figures?

Bricklinks your best bet to get the qunaity you need faster, Ebay is longer and with usually smaller auctions. Good Luck!

Shakoed or tricorn soldiers?

Or a mix?

Sounds like you're going to have to build this one on your own, especially if you'd like all the troops and cannons to fit inside.

The 1,000 soldiers is just for one type. Once I get that accomplished I will focus on another type. I have only been away from this website for nearly 5 hours and my post gets already 8 replies.

Second hand auctions off Ebay and such are often cheaper then Bricklink, however the quality might be less.

Thanks. I went on Bricklink and I am ordering 1,000 soldiers and 20 cannons plus I am working on my training base. Soon my army will rock! YAY!

WEll some people have been asking what I'm going to do with these soldiers. First I am going to make a video with them and take pictures of all the soldiers and then I am going to have war with my friends soldiers and If I win I get his lego guns and artillary and some of his lego boards and that stuff.

Not meaning to pry, but how did you manage to accumulate 370,000 dollars to spend on Pirate LEGO?

If you're genuine then I could definitely assist you with your quest to find soldiers. Of course, you could be playing with us in which cause we'd look rather foolish if helped you.

I'd be quite surprised if there were 1,000 soldiers at one time of BrickLink. It was be rare if any one seller had more than 10, so you'd have to buy from many different sellers to get 1000.

Ok, seriously kid, you could have gone with a more believable story, or backed down a bit, but you didn't, so here are a few facts of life when it comes to "1,000 soldiers"

There are currently a total of 159 redcoats, and 288 bluecoats, of the standard soldier variety, available on the entire Bricklink site, worldwide. To purchase them, you would need to place orders in approximately 97 stores, assuming they all ship to your location, and spend a total, without shipping or minimum order requirements, of $2650.89. Now I realise that you're spending $350k on this project so that you can hustle guns and men from your friends, who must also be rich and buying up their own collections, but come on. Really.

So, how about telling us what this is really about, huh?

Once again, agreed. The only reason why I got my army was by bidding high on Ebay. I had the funds as I worked and didn't spend my money really. And I set a clear goal on what I wanted. Hell, I'd love another 800 Redcoats, it would actually give me a Battalion of men opposed to the two companies. But I think we need to know whats going on.

is this a pirate time army contest? if not, spend $1000 on a massive submarine with a lots of guns,blow up his army, sell the sub parts, and you just got a free army!

if it is pirate time period contest, forget the castle, and get lots and lots of cannons, plus a few small walls, and blast him to bits!

Fear not Daphne, the number of soldiers on Bricklink hasn't seemed to decline since Kinzcove purchased a 1000 of them.

But if he really has $370,000 hey may want to consider invest $10,000 on a decent camera with the proper lenses for shooting miniatures and a decent lighting setup. If he doesn't have these already of course.

Buy your army and then display it here, but this thread really isn't achieving much. If not, we will all assume that you haven't got $350,000 to spend on Lego.
