REVIEW: 60250 Mail Plane

Here is my review on 60250 Mail Plane:

THE GOOD:

• Cheap way to get another white bird.
• Uncommon minifigure included.
• The plane turns out to be pretty good than originally expected.

THE NOT SO GOOD:

• To be honest, there isn't any.  If I have to pick one, it will be the limited availability.

Overall, I think this is great.  It's perfect as a small gift for Christmas.  The plane turns out to be looking better than expected.  And it's a great way to get an extra white bird (this is the main reason I bought it).  Now this can be hard to find for some as it is limited to Lego store and selected retailers depending on the region you live in.  Anyway, totally recommended!

I agree with your conclusion; I really like this little set, especially the minifig.
It also fits perfectly in our Winter Village, due to the white panels on top of the plane.

Nitpicking: We will replace the blue technic pins with black ones, since the axel is black as well

Great review! I really like this set too.

However, I think it's on the expensive side. $9.99 is cheap but the PPP isn't great...

The plane is very reminiscent of Classic Town, although the skis may make it harder to display than conventional landing gear.    Hopefully, the plane does not collide with the bird after it hits V1 on takeoff.
