Dear community. Complete newbie in Eurobricks. Starting hobby building project. If wrong Forum, please tell me where to otherwise ask.

Question: I am looking for a taller version of part 4215 e.g 1 x 4 x 6. Does this exist? Anyone a solution for this, other than stacking 2 of 3-high on top of each other? Are there other high panels (1 x 4 x ..)?

Many thanks! - Hanas

Only one I know of that's 4-studs wide and taller than 3 bricks is this one: 60808 1x4x5 but it has the castle style window hole (and doesn't have the open sides like 4215). All the other 1x4 panels I know of are only 3 bricks high. Maybe someone else knows.

Welcome to EB, Hanas!  I think the general question on the panels has been answered, but if you want to give any more detail on what you're trying to do we might be able to find an alternate way to accomplish it.  1x6 or 1x8 tiles connected across brackets at each end, for instance, could work for something similar to a taller version of 4215 depending on exactly how you're trying to use it.

Thank you all for feedback so far. Awesome answers, each one. All the point, many thanks. Looks like the right place to be.

Deraven, indeed, maybe other solutions are possible. The use: for panels in sliding doors, of varying height and width (together with (30586, window rail). In this particular door i would like to make a panel of 1x4x5 or 1x4x6. Obviously, I can make the door panels of 1x4 bricks, but this becomes to heavy and is not elegant. Hence, looking for a 'thinner solution'. I think I can settle for combinations of the panels (4215).

For info, overall project: building a replica of our home apartment,

Thanks again and greetings, Hanas

If 1x4x6 would be a good size and you're using it for a sliding door, I would definitely take a look at 60596 along with 57895 which are both available in a variety of colors.  That might work well in this case.

Another option if you want your sliding doors to be even thinner is to use 57895 WITHOUT a frame, and use 4510 in place of 30586. This is the technique used for the sliding rice-paper doors in Temple of Airjitzu, Ninjago City, and Ninjago City Docks. Lately I've been experimenting with the possibility of using this technique to build sliding doors for subway cars. :classic:
