It takes place in Italy between the World Wars, and the hero is a veteran who has closed himself off from the world, only to have it come knocking on his door. It's an adventure, a comedy, and a seaplane fanatic's dream al in one. I built this model over the course of a few years. Although the details are not perfect, such as the nose being too angular and pontoons too blocky, I am pretty satisfied with it. I went for true minifig scale.
