Pauls Technic Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 Recently I have returned to the LEGO Technic hobby. The first set I purchased to rebuild my collection was 42079. After building the A model (but not adding any stickers) I decided to try making a C model using just the parts from this set, I present my Urban Turf Tractor. This features:HOG SteeringOpening HoodRear hitch lifting (via black connector)Rear PTO (via 8 tooth gear under cabin)At the moment I am working on my first attachment for this, a rear mounted plough, this is also made using only the left over parts from this set. I will be presenting some photos of this shortly. My plan is to keep making as many different attachments as I can from these left over parts. Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 (edited) Nice job! Looks just like a JCB Fastrac. Btw - try hosting photos from Flickr or Bricksafe. Other sources won't display right. Edited May 19, 2020 by Maaboo35 Quote

Pauls Technic Posted May 22, 2020 Author Posted May 22, 2020 MOC- Urban Turf Tractor Attachment - Sprayer Following on from my Urban Turf tractor MOC, I have created a new attachment for this, a sprayer unit. This attaches using the normal mounting point and uses the PTO for raising and lowering the sprayer arm. This again only uses the pieces from set 42079, making it part of this C model series. Quote
Pauls Technic Posted May 23, 2020 Author Posted May 23, 2020 Following on from my Urban Turf tractor MOC, I have created three new attachments for this. This attaches using the normal mounting point and uses the rear control knob to raise and lower them. These again only uses the pieces from set 42079, making it part of this C model series. Field Plough Grader Blade Track Rake Full Collection - C model of 42079, these were all built using only the parts from this set. Quote
