jirin Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 Hello, I'd like to show you my last creation, small flatbed carriage. It is loosely based on old Ptdo class carriage from the late 60's. My aim was to build it real 6 wide with small height and compact. Do not have all the proper parts, so the real model isn't same as the studio one. btw: in studio I cannot attach tile to the two modified plates with clips, to make a stair (or stand, don't know the proper word). Anyone knows how to? Quote
Driver Brandon Grumman Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 Amazing! Seems like something I can use on an actual Lego railway. Quote
Pdaitabird Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 Very nice! I actually prefer the real version - that one orange tile works great as weathering! Quote
legobanker Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 Very nice! You have instructions and parts list you'll make available for sale? Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Simple but effective! Very nice! Quote
jirin Posted April 26, 2020 Author Posted April 26, 2020 Thank you very much. I altered color on tiles to look more weathered and on other parts. I like this version more, what do you think? Now I'm working on instructions Quote
LegoDW Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Nice build, with the shorter wheelbase will get less drag on the corners. Would like to see a fleet of these cars behind a steam engine. Quote

Over in the 10277 thread there’s been massive complaint about the lack of any form of rolling stock - this MOC is exactly what people need! Quote
jirin Posted July 21, 2020 Author Posted July 21, 2020 After a long time (I have been busy in work and in home, not much time left for lego) the instructions are done. It's my first work with studio instruction maker, so keep that in mind, please. Instructions are available for free at rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-47818/jirin/small-flatbed-carriage/?inventory=1#comments Quote
JopieK Posted July 21, 2020 Posted July 21, 2020 Thanks for sharing @jirin! Great: nice and simple. Quote
