Just my opinion... opening doors would be less Didumos, because body rigidty has to take a hit for that.

Also, the big one doesn't have opening doors, and I don't think an original dune buggy would have that either.

Only thing I'd wish for would be the steering wheel on the roof, but I can see from the exploded drawings it's not possible.

For me, there is no drawback from the 7L liftarm to 3 + 4L. Seeing your other creations, openable doors could be a first for you!

@Didumos69 you said..   But maybe for the contest I should...?  I would because competition is tight and some models have all your features and then some !!!.  Great job on your moc!!! good luck!!

I tried, but as @amorti already addressed, the overall rigidity declines under such a change. So no openable doors. Guess this is simply the way I build. Thanks for the comments though.

This is without openable doors. You're right about kids, but my kids get a minifig in anyway. Dukes of Hazzard style

I think it's better that way. I prefer a well-built model without opening doors over a model that has opening doors but is more flimsy, and your model already seems to be really fun to play with, so opening doors aren't really necessary.

FYI: I dropped the price of the instructions on Rebrickable from Euro 9,- to Euro 5,-. I also refunded the payment to the ones who already bought the instructions.

Nice one ?

I haven't dug in to my little stash yet to see what I have or don't have, but I will get to this one without doubt.

@Didumos69 do you see any reason it couldn't be built in greyhound colours? Any parts not available?

The 4x2 lift arm in the roof is not available in medium blue, but maybe you could do the roof dark azure. And the perpendicular connector with 1 axle hole and 2 pin holes is not available in white. Also the red T-bone is not available in white. You could use light bluish gray for those pieces though.

Hello! I really really want to built this ! I’m saving money so i can order the parts from bricklink. I wondered if it is possible to use white rubber bands instead of the red ones, does it make the suspension too hard? Or maybe the bands are too short. Greetings from Amsterdam
