Setting up Wordpress

Is anyone familiar with Wordpress?

I'd like to create a Wordpress Blog for the frontpage of Classic-Pirates.com for two main reasons

1. It would be much easier for SylOwl to update the frontpage. All he'd need to is create a new blog entry and not worry about HTML so much.
   
2. It could automatically create an RSS Feed of the frontpage news and that would help us reach more people.
   

Problem is I can't find the time to teach myself to set it up so I'm wondering if anybody already knows how? And I'm not referring to the version of the blog that's stored on Wordpress.com, I mean the one that you install to your own domain.

I forgot all about this thread! I created it back in the days before I'd ever installed Wordpress but since then I've installed Wordpress half a dozen times so I'm getting pretty good at it.

Nonetheless, we're always looking for volunteers to assist with upgrading Classic-Priates.com - so if anyone has any skills to offer we're interested in hearing from you!

First, it would probably be best if your friend voluntarily joined the forum. He might not like it! But if he decides to stick round for the longterm we could perhaps discussed opportunities.

Sadly, you can't be too careful with forums these days. Dissapointing though because Eurobricks is such a great place to be! And of course I had to add me - I'm the backbone of the whole place.Just joking. That would be Mister Phes. I'm justan insignificant frontpager.

And I doubt anyone who needs permission from his mom to join a forum would be that valuable to C-P (not that I want to interfere or something). But it's always good you offered help, Thomas B.
