I could see it happening towards the end of a game where the scum are getting desperate. I don’t understand your position. You’re claiming you’re town but you act as you’re waiting for someone to call you out. Wasting time in the process.

Maybe if they could stay with some logical excuses after the claimed one flips town. But I can't really think of anything viable if not at the end as you say.
