Monte Gardner Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 I've embarked on a rather ambitious project. I'm going to design and build the town of Everlook in Winterspring from World of Warcraft. As part of this I need to make a dirt road through snowy mountains. Here's a couple images to get an idea: link1 link2 link3 I thought I might use the reddish brown logs with the curved parts facing upwards and then use a combination of white tiles and sloped pieces for the snow. Do you have any advice on how to do something like this? For example, how do I make a scene look more "dirty" Quote
Mylenium Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 Just now, Monte Gardner said: Do you have any advice on how to do something like this? Check the instructions for set 75936 Jurassic Park: T. Rex Rampage, the gate in particular. the muddy tracks are just what you need. and based on that of course the answer is easily that you are going to need tons of such elements (they also conveniently come in white for snow) and all sorts of other slopes, curved slopes or wedges. It will just take lots of experimentation and likely quite some finicky building with lots of jumper plates and such to get curved and irregularly roughened edges. Mylenium Quote
Monte Gardner Posted March 9, 2020 Author Posted March 9, 2020 That looks great. I can't seem to find a part list or instruction book for "Jurassic Park Rampage". Can anyone find a link, or identify the pieces that make up the mud below the gate? Quote
