Rivets Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 Hi everyone, I wanna see my 7725 on the rails again but can't come up with a decent layout. Can you recoomend a good website that has lots of 12v layout ideas? Thanks Quote
Hobbes Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 That's a good question. I'm looking for inspiration also, although 9V. I usually look around on brickshelf by just searching for "layout" or "layouts". There are some interesting ones but mostly too big since they're from shows. But maybe there's an inspiration among them... PS: Gotta love the 7725! I added another waggon and put it on a 9V motor. I'm thinking of using it as some sort of subway or El, not sure yet how my layout will look :) Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted July 2, 2005 Posted July 2, 2005 Great classic train set. I don't have any of the old 12 V sets but certainly wish I did. These would make great legends (but in 9 V to go with new track). The Train Depot is an older web site but has some great basic and more complex layouts from catalogues and other sources. Check out this site under Train Layouts if you have not already => Train Depot I would also recommend the Track Designer program if you don't already have. Great way to build/measure your layouts without building. Quote
