Ayrlego Posted March 1, 2020 Posted March 1, 2020 As spring breaks in southern Mitgardia, shepherds begin the trek from their lowland villages up to the higher summer pastures. A rather simple little scene to show off my new sheep! After seeing Capt Wolf's Brick Forge sheep in a build in BoBS a while ago, I really wanted some of my own. I noticed in January that they were finally back in stock and quickly acquired ten (two missed out on this MOC!!). Quote
Basiliscus Posted March 1, 2020 Posted March 1, 2020 Nice little scene. I love the colour palette, the sand green and dark green go well together. I'm not 100% sold on the dark bley tree but I do like the rock work on the right hand side. Quote
zoth33 Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Nice little scene. I don't mind the tree as some oaks have grey bark. I like the base. I didn't know brick forge had sheep good to know. Quote
Grover Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Well done! I like the sand and dark green together. The grey tree trunk is pretty cool, too. Most of the oaks in my area have grey bark, but it's hard to use light grey for bark and for stone, but you managed to avoid that and it looks just fine to me. Love the brick forge sheep, too. Definitely gives me a springtime vibe for a northern climate, and the dog with the sheep is a nice touch. Well done! Quote
derEselausErgste Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Nice little scene, and the sheep’s are a „must have“. Looked for them at Brick Forge without success. Tell me why I do hate Mondays... Quote
Kai NRG Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Such a peaceful looking vignette - as others have said, the choice of colors sets a lovely tone. Nice use of loose round plates for gravel too. Good to see you building again! Quote
(Luc)ky Luke Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 Great use of colour in this small scene! (Am I correct saying that it is sand green?) Quote
Louis of Nutwood Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 Nice unusual colors for the vegetation, mate. Beautiful flock of sheep as well! The loose studs are a nice addition and the tree looks rather unique in grey. The farmer (?) taking the sheep seems like he's had enough, though. Quote
