Hi there!

My 2.5 years old son has started showing interest for engines. I figured I could build him a model that shows the basics. With a removable engine as a feature.

I had a few Mindstorm NXT white parts left at hand, so that decided the color scheme.
It of course had to be small, light, and tough: a 1 meter drop should not be an issue.

That's the result:

The engine holds solely on the light grey pin above. It's very easy to take apart.
The black thin beams inside the front mud guards give the radiator a slight back angle, so that the hood clicks in place nicely in the 2 studs on top of the radiator.

Those panels look nice from back here. They are hard to put in use since there aren't many in that color. So definitely, I like them where they are now.
