Is it me or does TLG include teen legs (the medium ones) only in Harry Potter sets and Disney's Chip and Dale?

What do you think? Will medium legs become more commonplace or will they remain with Harry Potter and a couple other very specific minifigs?

They are also in padme in the pod racer 20th anniversary set and probably will be in others, I think that TLG is just looking for the best places to use them!

I'm really surprised they aren't putting them in Creator or City sets. Strange how they only put them on (licensed) characters that really need them.

Yes it is strange, I guess they are just so desirable that they are a major draw for the sets that contain them. Hopefully the range of sets with them expands in the future. I think that they could be a good addition to a people pack in an exclusive colour!

They will. No reason to assume they would be reserved for very specific and special sets. In my view LEGO not using them in more mundane sets that frequently often simply boils down to lack of differentiation if they would, i.e. scale issues. It's easier to associate different age levels with named figures of a certain time, but the distinction may get lost or become somewhat obscure if you have an adult minifig next to a teen minifig in say a Creator set, yet the teen outsizing the adult due to some specific headwear piece or whatever. I think those are the points that LEGO still need to consider in relation to the intended target demographic of different series.

Hopefully they'll add them to City and Creator soon and not just keep them in licensed.

I can understand them appearing in licensed , as they are based on teen actors of their represented media, but it'd be a missed chance to keep the piece away from other themes.
