ks6349 Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 I don't know how to post pictures here but you can easily find on Youtube and Google that 10257 is often a quite large compared to other buildings. In reality, Carousel would not be that big. I mean the proportional feeling. Do you have the same feeling? Quote

The Carousel, as a stand-alone set, does better in a more open fairground setting than, say, among modular buildings. The two-tiered design is definitely more reminiscent of larger carousels like you might find in a theme park (if anything, many real carousels are even bigger, with room for dozens of riders at a time). If you prefer a smaller carousel, you might try to make one based on the one from the Winter Village Market, which is scaled better for display among other buildings. Quote

It's obviously too big IN PROPORTIONAL to other expert buildings e.g. modular buildings, Ferris Wheel and 10261...etc..... compared to the real life situation Edited August 9, 2019 by ks6349 Quote
MAB Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 (edited) Creator Expert cars are also out of scale with the modulars. Just like the carousel and modulars, they are not designed to be displayed together. Problems with scale is something most Lego fans are used to. The Grand Emporium for example is a very small shop in "real" scale. Edited August 14, 2019 by MAB Quote
