My model has a number of duplicated items, which I have done as sub-models.

In the instructions, I want to be able to to remove the pages where these sub-models are added and just state: Do this 8 times. Just like you get in normal LEGO instructions.

How is this done, since it won't allow me to remove pages in the instructions which are steps?

I have tried putting the duplicates into a single step, but the instructions add a page per sub-model regardless.

I can't remove the parts from these duplicate pages. I can't remove the page numbering.

Which means that I can't even remove the pages after the fact, as it will throw off the page numbering.

Sub-models and instructions don't seem well suited.

The submodels must be “linked” and placed in the same step.

If you copy/paste a submodel, it’s “linked” by default.  If you “unlink” a copy, even if you don’t modify it, the original and the copy are treated as different and all their building steps are shown/repeated.  If you built the submodels separately, even if they use the same bricks, they aren’t “linked.”

The latest version v2.0.7(1) has a feature to re-“link” submodels.  I didn’t try it so can’t say much about it.

Yeah as he wrote, you have to clone (C) the submodel, and then in the instructions it will appear as "x2", as long as both are in the same step. Also note that you can move the "x2" in the page design, even if it doesn't have a selection rectangle around it.

It also means - I believe - that you cannot do a "x2" assembly and then use the second instance later in the instructions, they do have to be in the same step. (or maybe I missed something)

Hello everyone. I`m building a model in Studio.io and I split the main model into several submodes. Is there any way to set an order in which this submodes will be assembles in the final PDF instruction?
