If you follow Eurobricks on Instagram you may have seen the below post in which an alleged casting agent for LEGO Masters wants to make contact.

Whether it's just with @paokus or Eurobricks in general is currently unclear... and whether this is legitimate or not we're yet to confirm, but Eurobricks definitely has many talented builders whose skills could be featured on this show.

Plus, Eurobricks should receive publicity from LEGO Masters if they wish to cast builders based on the MOCs they discover in our forums and social profiles.

So let the negotiations begin!

nor do I have a partner.

Poor lonely LEGO Fan.:wink::laugh:

I tried out with my brother for the UK one but it ended up clashing too much with work so I couldn't go further. But if anyone does get on to this show a spiffy As Seen on TV tag is waiting.

Love this tag idea ... Im afraid I would have the same issue with work ... considering we work 60+ hrs a week lol

As somebody who's usually collaborated with my brother @Lyichir on most of our best MOCs, the idea of a building competition designed for teams of two sounds perfect… but to be totally honest, I've been under a lot of anxiety this year between politics, gender transition, academics, and just general challenges keeping on top of my personal responsibilities. And that's really stifled my creative energy — I haven't finished a new MOC in nearly a year. I don't think going on national TV for the first time at this point in my life would make matters any better, no matter what opportunities, rewards, and prestige I would stand to gain from it.

Here's the site where you can put in an application even without a direct invitation from the casting agency, if that's of interest to anyone! https://www.legomasters.tv/

If I can add, I know people working on the show and if anyone wants me to put in a good word to casting, let me know.

Well, the point of this topic is an alleged casting agent (themicasting on Instagram) has reached out to Eurobricks or maybe just @paokus...

How legitimate that account is still needs to be confirmed so what I'll do is follow it with the ClassicPirates Instagram account and determine whether they're reaching out to all major LEGO Instagram accounts or just Eurobricks specifically.

The Australian version ended up being shown in prime time on Channel 9. I seriously expected it to be some forgotten satellite show too. Maybe you guys will be as lucky as us. It was a good show, they really turned down the 'reality show drama' garbage (not completely off, but significantly down).

I was sent a message by this person on Instagram too, but I’m not interested in being on a show.

Raph Korine (@raph176, 18k followers, Lego Masters USA casting in bio) wrote to me on IG, but in retrospect it appears he might have spammed other accounts to apply, too.  I followed up with 2 phone calls and took some notes:

- 12 pairs, preferably family/friends with one of those being a Lego master

- Oct 28 to mid-Dec, max 7 weeks

- LA, flights and accommodations paid plus a stipend TBD

- grand prize 100k USD

- Thanksgiving break halfway through

- 6 of 7 days per week, 1 day off per week

- phone & skype interviews, then a test build
