paul_delahaye Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 in the UK it was either £14.99 or £17.99 (don't exactly recall) but amazon/argos knocked a 3rd off so purchase around £12 was a good deal. It was a good set, but at 8 or 9 studs wide it was getting a bit crazy in terms of scale against a train Quote

Why the official Amazon UK doesn't offer as many great deals as the USA one? Quote

Amazon in Europe is a lot more localized and spread across many countries individual websites, each with their own Prime programs which are seperate. Each also has their different shipping rules to countries. For The Netherlands, Amazon.de will often offer free shipping over €29, but UK, FR, IT, etc won't. If Amazon Prime had 1 subscription for the European sites it'd be a lot better value then what it offers now. Edited July 13, 2019 by TeriXeri Quote

MAB Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 Amazon UK does have good deals - my last few orders from them (RRP in brackets): LEGO Movie 2 70841 Benny's Space Squad £5.99 (£8.99) 75259 Star Wars Snowspeeder £19.99 (£34.99) LEGO Aquaman: Rage of Atlantis Blu-ray (with Jessica Cruz minifigure) £5.00 Amazon prime is more than free (pre-paid) delivery. It is a movie / TV streaming service too. Quote
