I wonder, is the mouth fixed? It seems the tiles are slightly angled. Could it be that the jaw can be moved down so that the month can be open (baby Yoda smiling)?

It's a beautiful set, but something about the face just doesn't quite sit right. Granted that Wintermoog's version's head is slightly larger, but seems to capture the cuteness of the face better.

The child is very cute,face kinda reminds me of gremlins and i like it a lot,much superior build than that creepy yoda thing. Dont like the body that much it looks like wooden beer mug. Great way to get the child minifig for those that dont like/cant afford razor crest. Someone should come up with a custom soup bowl build to make it even better.

I may get The Child, I’m not a huge fan of the brick built characters (mostly because of the price) but I don’t think I’ll be able to skip this

Was so busy gawping at the brick built child that I failed to spot the tiny one was included. Hopefully - hopefully - that drives the price down a fraction on the aftermarket, because much as the Razor Crest looks good I am going to resist buying it for all I'm worth. I don't need to open another new avenue of expenditure on SW lego... I only just managed not to fall hook-line-and-sinker for the Knights of Ren.

Also.... would like to register my dismay that Blue Milk Luke isn't Aunt Beru. Short of a moisture farm set I can't see how else they could give her to us.

IF the CMF series were to happen (and I still don't know how much of it is rumor and how much is wishful speculation at this point), I'd imagine that could be a great opportunity to give us characters like her, Willrow Hood, Boss Nass, etc, who were in the movies but don't really have a major role or were only in specific scenes that aren't conducive to sets.  

I actually really like the promo Luke, I don't know if I'm getting the game but I might pick that up on the secondary market.

I’m not really either, but after buying the Porg, I’m kinda hooked. Although I have no desire to get that creepy Yoda, but resisting The Child is going to be difficult.

I got BB-8 and my brother got the Porg. Neither of us really have any interest in D-0. I’m kind of interested in Yoda but the price kills it for me. Probably have to get The Child so that pretty much seals it on not getting Yoda

BB-8 went by the wayside unfortunately...just missed out on it. Artoo wanted a friend.... I do like D-O but it would have to be a good discount for me to buy. I love the Porg. I imagine the Child will be much of the same.

That’s not a particularly strong Strine accent. 

The Razor Crest is listed on KMart’s website but without stock so far. Therefore it’s not an Amazon exclusive in Australia. Only 169 dollarydoos as well.

The Child turned out much better than I expected much like Yoda, I'm sure it will look even better in person. Either way, my wife really wants it. She's collected every one of these UCS-style buildable characters.
