Mechbuilds Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 If the servo motor can't turn the whole 90 degrees, will it break if i force and hold it in say.. 45 degrees instead? Quote
AndyCW Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 The servo will just stall. There are videos on YouTube demonstrating the servo's characteristics Quote
allanp Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 It won't break it but another solution, if you have room for it, is to gear it down 2:1 Quote

I think i'll use effermans lever solution to get the excess slack of the 90 degree turn. Quote
kbalage Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 If you use BuWizz or SBrick for control you can limit the angle with the application Quote

I checked it is not available in the BuWizz app yet (or at least I did not find it), but you can use BrickController 2 and limit the motor output % with BuWizz as well. Quote
